I don't get all the pay drama. My wallet is itching like an american on a lawn with a shotgun on one shoulder and a hawk on the other (how we scandinavians picture all 'mericans but not really) to buy Idaho later today. They put loads of caffeine abuse and grindy work into this - I've done similar work, it's WORK, ofc I'd pay for their efforts and so I can contribute to their continued development of my favorite games. I view the event as just a fun added bonus and added gameplay. It's really that simple, to me. With all the time I spend on the game, comparing it with other hobbies that would rape your wallet (like RC) it's not even an afterthought.

And SCS does sooo much for us for free and keep pushing quality all the time. All we pay for is map expansions and occasional accessory / trailer / tire DLC...

Other companies would charge 20€ for the trucks alone. And we get every truck for free... I dont have alot of money so I dont wanna pay all that much for my own sake but not gonna complain about the prices SCS sets, they are amazing.
I think SCS know they have lots of fans that are on a limited budget. People play these games on 10 year old PC's in some cases... :o

My only complaints is things is not coming out fast enough but I dont blame SCS, I know they are working as hard and as fast as they can...
PC: AMD Ryzen R9 5900X, 32 Gb 3200 Mhz,MSI X570S Tomahawk WifI MAX, 6750XT 12Gb, 2x LG 27GL650B-F 144 Hz 1 x ASUS 24" 60 hz 3x1080p, G29 + H-Shifter, TrackIR5

I rather they take their time and do it right than rush anything. Worse to play something frustrating than just having to wait a little.

Yeah, I guess if any complaint it would be things like the A.I and skybox issues, the Skybox is now likely fixed, Max said he had he had dug in to the code and found the issue so hope its sorted now.

We have gotten so many great updates, like the gearbox update recently wich I love to bits... the Allsion 7 speed is amazing now, it was good before but it would rev like nuts. Same for most gearboxes and engines in the game, now it act more realisitc and will maybe at most hit 1700 rpm's from what I can tell wich is fine. Altho, the Allison 7 speed wont give me 7th gear at 60 mph but it doesnt rev to more thant 1300 rpms so i guess its okey.
Hope we one day can have the option to change the rear end gearing individually.

I love what SCS do and how much they care about what we want. I rave about SCS everywhere, I cant help my self... how good they are as developers, I just cant shut up about it, and been like that for years.
Unlike a certain other company that make a certain space game wich I just put on ignore on Steam and uninstalled because they refuse to balance anything and had no good content in 4 - 5 years. And now wanna sell us another expantion...

In my opinion, SCS pricing is really fair, we get lots and lots of free features, trucks and trailer models, reworked cargo models for flatbed and lowboys, reworked maps .....
