Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Why would they add anything? Iberia is still almost two months away. That's plenty of time to get 1.40 out.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Because in October of the last year when 1.36 was released in Open Beta, things related to Road to the Black Sea DLC had already been added to the game, including the border with Hungary-Romania and a very small part of Romania.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Fair enough, I forgot when they added the RttBS bits last year. I thought it was in mid-November, my bad.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
That something happened once don't mean it has to happen always, @Marcello Julio
RttBS roads where there on 1.36 update because the map team schedule made they were already done for that time. That has not necesariy have to be what will happen with Iberia.
And DLCs aren't openly tested in betas; so they can release any minor update to 1.39 that includes those links and done. They don't need a 1.40 to release Iberia as they don't need any major update to release any DLC. The only need resides on that update could contain any feature in the code that is used in the DLC (viewpoints for example). Once that code is put in place, the DLC could be released later and the link roads (that are content, not features) can be included and released faster than you say "Jesus!".
And talking about code of features... ATS .exe on the beta grow significantly (around 1MB more of size). Did happened the same with the ETS2 .exe?
Regards

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
It's a hard decision : stay on 1.38 and play with some of my favorite mods...or go on 1.39.

What do you think of the FH16 (D16G750) sound in the latest 1.39 release?

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Haven't tested it @plykkegaard.
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
I've looked it up and apparently Oregon was released on 1.32 while Beyond the Baltic Sea was released on 1.33. So I see now that it is definitely likely that Iberia will come with 1.40 rather than 1.39.
