I'm a flattop/flatbed guy, used to driving them mainly IRL and continue the same way in game, besides I like to look at with what i'm hauling. After them container and tippers are a equal second with lowloaders/lowboys being third, any boxed style trailer being my least favourite especially fridge vans/reefers.

Guys, take a look at the ETS2 page on Steam, they updated the screenshots and removed the old ones :)
Oh awesome! :o It's about time they did that! The new ones definitely depict the game a lot more accurately now. :)

Scania trucks are the best, but the Peterbilts are good too.
Road signs are just as important as the road itself.

Now they just need to update the demo's so they depict something like the current games.

Will they do that, updating the demo?I mean,i guess there's people still trying the demo. But is there enough of them,to make a demo worth an update?

a demo is there to show potential buyers the game, ofc it is worth updating the demo

that developer didnt put out demos anymore in the last decade was a big step back so players couldnt see what crap they bought, a demo is always worth it because it shows you are confident in your product that you can show it off

Agreed on the demo. That is why we pushed so hard in ATS for Vegas and Los Angeles primarily. What the devs did in Portland and Seattle must trickle down to everything else to bring the standards up to par. ATS player base has to increase if its going to get more mappers. In ATS its the major cities that can use updates to lure newcomers. In ETS2, I don't know what the demo consist of because I just bought the game flat out. But if the demo was new Germany for instance, that is enticing enough as the entire map of Germany was due for a revamp. Unlike ATS where the overall base map is okay.

Well I bought ATS and ETS2 only after spending some time with the demos,so updating them is definetly worth it.

i tired the ETS2 demo, also because i wanted to see if my wheel worked (Xbox 360 Wireless wheel at the time) because the copy of 18WoS i have doesnt, played the demo "through" and bought the game right after and continued

so the demo is more then worth it to help players decide

I actually played the ATS demo over and over again for six months before I actually decided to buy the game. The demos are definitely worth it for SCS. ;)
