I didn't notice until now because I play vanilla during betas.
Automatic transmission improvements SCS made work perfect and are better than before, except when you use transmission and engine sound mods that mess with the shifting points and rpm ranges. Then you have various problems like late to shift or not downshifting or trying to start from a complete stop with wrong gear. anyone noticed this?

is the same for both ATS and ETS2
There are naive questions, tedious questions, ill-phrased questions, questions put after inadequate self-criticism. But every question is a cry to understand the world. There is no such thing as a dumb question.

Those emoticon things aren't new I already had them. I guess they've just been added to the community items list.

GRSO 905R (Scania) has a noticeable problem with the movement at 80 km / h, it does not switch to 12 gears and leaves 1300 rpm. You have to constantly switch manually. Volvo, Mercedes and Man gearboxes don't seem to be affected.

because the gearbox has a different differential ratio then the other gearboxes

and default rpm for upshift is 1500rpm on low gears and 1350rpm on high gears

Yep, I understand
I thought this was an unrecorded flaw in the algorithm.

I can’t test until Thursday afternoon, but I will play with various combinations of transition and engine mods to see which cause the problem and notify the respective moders unless someone beats me to it.

Half this topic isn't related to SCS, what's your point? In fact no post on this whole page is technically on topic, even the ones talking about the game.
