When you activate rotary beacons actually, the light projects in lots of directions that it shouldn't due objects blocking it. It's usual to see the beacons projecting to behind the truck despite the wind deflector having to block it. I don't see that effect on the streaming though I admit that not being very dark and other details could make difficult to be sure of that.

That's why I said that if he had activated the beacons on the trailer we could be more sure. That rotary beacon on the rear (well, at least on the SCS trailer, don't know if in the Schwartzmüller too) is very exaggerated how wrongly the light goes through solid parts of the trailer.

In the Iberian rest areas blog post appear at least 1 clear image of a completely new lowboy (it clearly has 4 axles, so it can't be the actual model)
Ah. So it does. The blue lowboy trailer in this pic has 4 axles.

Yes, that's the image. Some people said that the other lowboy on another image could be new too, but it's seen from far and behind and not clear enough. The 4th axle in this other although clearly shows us it's a new trailer. The trees cargo in that image it's also something new (and another of those pictures shows another different vegetation cargo, but from far and less clear)

That's also the image that makes me wonder if those trailers are finally going to appear as AI traffic. But as SCS use to take those screenshots with a free point of view, we can't know it that's the truck of the player.

I wish they wouldn't waste development hours on paint jobs.
I also don't care for paintjobs except from the 'classic stripes paintjobs' DLC , its quite good imo.
However, dragons, flag paintjobs, extravagant art and such, they're well done on their own but personally I rather see more classic-stripes variations.

I wish people would learn that paintjobs have no affect on any other areas of development.

How so? Aren't they made by in-house artists? I wish they'd spend a lot more time on road textures and a lot less on paintjobs.

SCS does not stop assets artists and say "hey stop what you are doing, you must make paintjobs first"

There are artists exclusively doing paintjobs only, in other words whose entire job is to make every paintjob for every truck and upcoming truck, tuning, paintjob pack etc. etc. In other words, nobody is filling in for anyone...

BTW, talking about the new trailer we saw in the blog images of Iberia. We can't be sure due the free point of view that SCS uses in those cases, but would you expect them to include those trailers into AI traffic too?
Mostly. That was the case with the food tanker during 1.37. however we cannot expect all possible configurations in the AI traffic, it's usually one or two per model.
