the weight only factors in for fuel efficiency with power to weight ratio, not so aerodynamic, Koenigsegg One:1 is such an example, 1kg > 1 hp

Kept out of the discussion about what has been said now but wanted to just say a couple of things to some of the comments

@harishw8r any truck can have different tare weight regarding to what it is spec'd for, some conventional sleepers can have a lighter tare weight then a cabover sleeper, same principle for daycab variants although cabover daycabs are are rare sight these days.

For instance where I work we have 2 UD cabover trucks that tare at 10.3t, compared to the Argosy I drive and the sister Argosy taring at 8.9T, then we have a daycab conventional T609 that only tares at 8.4T while we have a 60inch sleeper variant of the same model that tares at 9.2T, we have a K104 Aerodyne that tares at 9.2T while the 3 K108's tare heavy at 9.7 to 9.9T mainly because there spec'd up for B-double and recently A-Double work. The many New Gen Scania's and Merc Actros I see pulling A & B-doubles around the ports are taring just shy of 10T so it really depends what the truck is set up for will determine what kind of tare weight it will have.

@plykkegaard that link is only for euro specs but in general the GCM/GCW is be alot more depending on what the truck is spec'd up for. For instance there are DAF's in that link that are 70/90T rated over here using the same engine.

Why are the skins in trucks and trailers of poor quality, especially in oblique places? Is it a matter of SMAA anti-aliasing? You can see it up close, even in the latest Super Stripes Pack and Daf Unity Edition. Same company inscriptions on trailers.

Looks great. It feels great that I have been able to recognise buildings and roads from the last time I visited.
