Forum Wishlists & Suggestions
Re: Forum Wishlists & Suggestions
Yes it is. But it doesn't change the fact that sometimes, we moderators DO actually allow people to break the rules if there's a valid reason for doing it.
That doesn't mean you all can go off cursing and swearing at each other though. It just means that we DO employ common sense over gestapo like "THESE ARE THE RULES YARGH!" methods.
So again, if you believe you have a valid reason for bending or even breaking a rule then go ahead. We won't bite your head off for it but we will let you know if we disagree with your reasoning.
EDIT: On a side note to all this. If quoting had a similar function to how the code tags works. With a javascript to show a long quoted message, sorta like how spoilers work. Then the rule would no longer be necessary.
But if that is done, then we lose a good and valid tool for quoting texts from outside the forum etc.
At the end of the day, i still prefer it if people quote intelligently.

The forum viewforum.php?f=78 should be renamed from Norwegian to Norwegian Bokmål because Norwegian is not a written language, but rather consist two of them. And the "Norwegian" language selection in the game is Norwegian Bokmål, so it should be renamed ingame too. The second Norwegian written language, Norwegian Nynorsk, already have the forum viewforum.php?f=102, so the one for Norwegian Bokmål should follow the same naming formula.
This is not a signature.

Noticed that the bug threads for ATS have been reordered, with the last patch being listed first. Can we have the same treatment for ETS2, which has many more bug threads?
Edit: I saw the Bugs Archive thread in ETS2 and that gave me an idea for a suggestion: move in that thread all the bugs threads corresponding to the beta versions that are not supported in Steam anymore. Now it could be till 1.16.

Re: Forum Wishlists & Suggestions
What i want to see in forum: I would appreciate if someone will add a "Whisthlist and Suggestions Voting Sistem"
Explain:
1.If a player would write a article about a suggestion, automatically a poll will be added like:
-No
-Yes
-Unknown
2.After writing the post, the developers of the game will vote if feature will be added in-game
The big question:Why? Because the players to collaborate with developers and knowledges

Re: Forum Wishlists & Suggestions
How about adding some arbitrary number of posts a user should make before being allowed to create new threads? Say, 30. Or 24.
I don't want to be that guy who restricts new people, but some areas of this forum are a mess of single-post users' threads with no substance.

Re: Forum Wishlists & Suggestions
Hi, will the normal users ever get the option to delete their own threads they started, even when others have replyed in it?
Would be rather nice to get, im sure it would also make the modders/admins etc. "job" a bit less demanding.

Re: Forum Wishlists & Suggestions
I would like y'all to make American trucking simulator for the PlayStation 4 console please.
Re: Forum Wishlists & Suggestions
To be honest i'd love to get both truck sims on consoles but i'm pretty sure they recently confirmed they won't do it.
