Re: New Forum Discussion/suggestion thread
I could be mistaken it's been over 10 years since I admin'd a PHPbb forum. But I think the only way to do that would be to actually rename the forums and put "ATS/ETS2" tags in the forum name.
It would be useful though.

Re: New Forum Discussion/suggestion thread
Ooh looky we now have user titles. I'm guessing these are based on user groups though and not customisable?

Re: New Forum Discussion/suggestion thread
Adding ATS/ETS2 everywhere doesn't make much sense - for example for this category, you'd need to add a prefix for all parent categories too.
I wanted to avoid customizing phpBB too much (the only change are full breadcrumbs in footer) so idk if I'll do anything about this in templates.
Yes, user ranks are based on groups. Custom ranks are terrible anyway, that's why you have a signature.

@Timmy 1. breadcrumbs may be under topics of Active topics, your posts, new posts, unread posts etc. can be better.
Also back in old days, there used to be forum software that SOE used, which has "Dev Tracker" section where you could see where Dev group members has posted. Could there be similiar plugin to phpBB? To follow up infos, tips and announces?

Right, this is a problem, I understand.Timmy wrote: ↑22 Jun 2017 13:20 Adding ATS/ETS2 everywhere doesn't make much sense - for example for this category, you'd need to add a prefix for all parent categories too.

Re: New Forum Discussion/suggestion thread
Since titles are group based can Senior Testers be listed as seniors so new seniors can't hide.

Re: New Forum Discussion/suggestion thread
Could thread titles be given colors depending on the top level category? So that ETS2, ATS, WoT etc. forums all have different colors?
Different topic: How can I look for a specific user's topics, like 'Your posts' but instead those of another user? Right now, from a user's profile, I can only list all their posts, but I don't know of a way to sort them into topics. It's all a big mess. If that function doesn't exist, maybe it could be added. It would be very useful e.g. for looking up all mods by a certain user.

Re: New Forum Discussion/suggestion thread
Search for someone with the "Search for author" name field, in the advanced search dialog. The trick is to set the "Display results as:" option, a bit below, to "Topics", instead of the default "Posts".

Re: New Forum Discussion/suggestion thread
That's actually great to have.
Though it still displays all topics that user has posted in, and I'd like to have 'User's topics' (topics created by them) available from their profile.
