Re: Forum Discussion/Suggestion Thread
I wonder if it is possible to add a feature to put lists next to each other. For example, I have this post. I'm not sure how it looks on other devices, but for me on my 1920 x 1080 monitor, it looks like poor screen space management. There's a bunch of empty space to the right because everything is pushed to the left side of the page. I have several lists in that post, and I think it would be better use of the screen space and require less scrolling if it was possible to place lists side by side. If that's not possible, maybe it could work if there's a way to embed spreadsheets from programs like Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel into posts. That way, people can type out lists and tables formatted however they want and just embed them into the post.

Re: Forum Discussion/Suggestion Thread
It will be needed that the forum would allow multi-column tables (or any other more modern layout control) to be added to the message body. I've seen it requested a few times; but I don't know if phpBB has the option that Timmy just disabled or if it relies on third-party plugins (that Timmy said it's reluctant to include due compatibility problems in the long run)
To embed directly any Office source data is a bad idea because there's lots of added complications and concerns. It's complicated enough to be sure that the table options inside the message doesn't mess the rest of the forum layout.

@Timmy There is a bug in the email notifications when you get a new private message. I got the email for PM sent on 14 Jul 2020 at 17:49 today (19.07) at 00:35. Such a delay makes this option rather useless.

I might be posting in the wrong section but yesterday I noticed carthoo is showing up as a registered user, which strikes me as odd because as far as I know, he is a member of the SCS team. Is he leaving SCS or a glitch in the forum?
Re: Forum Discussion/Suggestion Thread
He already left. Just put his name in the forum's search function to check this. And better don't ask why, a decent company doesn't discuss such matters in public.

Please take cell phone users into consideration in case you should consider multi column layoutSome newbie driver wrote: ↑13 Jul 2020 06:54 It will be needed that the forum would allow multi-column tables
Layout is nice as it is now

@Reinhard He's still in SCS and seniors forum groups.
Just swapped his default group to common user so it blends in the crowd, he is taking rest and recovering only I think

I was not talking about the forum layout. I was answering about a question of how to include tabulated data into the content of a post.plykkegaard wrote: ↑27 Jul 2020 21:16Please take cell phone users into consideration in case you should consider multi column layout
