My only issue is the SCS entry. While it does refer to those people as a company name, the abbreviations used on the forum are only to reference the company (not the founders) or the devs as a collective unit. :P

@Bocaj Thanks! I added that one. :)

@Mohegan13 I know. I just added it incase anyone was wondering what the real meaning behind the SCS name was. I took me a while to learn that one when I first got here. ;)

The abbreviations commonly used for betas were added to the list:
  • EB = Experimental Beta
  • OB = Open Beta (Same as Public Beta)
  • PB = Public Beta (Same as Open Beta)
Some more truck terminology was also added:
  • DEF = Diesel Exhaust Fluid (this is the North American name for AdBlue)
  • DPF = Diesel Particulate Filter

@Vlad (ua) Ah, that's a good one. I added two definitions to that as CB also refers to the radio that truck drivers use. ;)
  • CB = 1. Closed Beta 2. Citizens Band Radio
I'm also adding a couple that I've seen on here recently that I had to look up.
  • TL;DR = Too Long; Didn't Read
  • YMMV = Your Mileage May Vary

Seeing as SCS is using these in the release dates for upcoming DLCs, I think it would be a good idea to add these to the list.
  • TBA = To Be Announced
  • TBD = To Be Decided

@supersobes what about 4SSW="4 Spoke Steering Wheel" when people talk about tuning pack DLCs that includes these steering wheels?
And then we can have PTTM=Pedal to the Metal
ALH=American Long Haul when discussing 18 wheels of steel games.

FMOD sound modder and currently learning to make my own 3D models,yet i'm fine at porting PTTM/Haulin mods into ATS/ETS2 with fixes.I do not take requests on new trucks,it will be a waste of time.

LOD = Level of Detail
AA = Antialiasing
SSAO = Screen Space Ambient Occlusion
CDA = Coeur d'Alene
EL = Efficientline (Cabin version of MAN TGX)
MDH = Million Dollar Highway (US-550)
SLC = Salt Lake City

Imo we could split this into different categories such as technical terms, cities and so on.
:idea: Paint everything black!
