I'll pretend to be shocked later. The lighting does look cool though, if only they could fix the flares going through solid objects thing though.

After reading everything, with a bit of luck, we might get Iberia in February. If open beta really starts in January.

I liked the openness of the article. Thanks for the news!

the image with the MP3 looks like they did it, IF it was taken at the same time as current to make a valid comparison, because i dont see a lit up green garbage bin at the front that the light of the MP3 shouldnt reach on the new light image

I'm not surprised by the delay. Having to finalize textures without knowing the lighting system is difficult, so Iberia will be a much better product if the new lighting system is in place beforehand.

Germany reworks! I was thinking we would have to wait until next year for them to start working on it considering Iberia was so big, but I'm really glad to hear they were working on it.

Also, it was a good decision to have Pavel himself break the news. I'm personally not disappointed but I think it makes the news easier to swallow when the CEO takes the time to write up an explanation for the delay.

finally a new lightning :D
one of the things I've been waiting for the most :)
It was a difficult year for many, there can be delays, it's a shame that Iberia won't be finished this year, but I think with this outlook for the coming year I can easily live with it :)
Well,no happy end for ETS2 2020 but maybe a great start in the year 2021 ;)

Note it said closed beta in January, not open beta.

The new lightning looks amazing. I had a feeling Iberia will not come in December, the wait will be worth
