Texas has the potential to break into the top 20 for all games, not just DLC. I'm guessing HoR will make the top 20 for sure.

oldmanclippy you're right. now HoR in top 25 and Texas in top 66 of Steam Top Wishlist https://store.steampowered.com/search/? ... arwishlist
among all the games at the moment even before the release in a couple of months. everything is possible on the day of release.

this is really something incredible, for games that are already 9 and 6 years old.

and if we consider that these are DLCs, then they already occupy the 1st and 2nd places among all DLCs coming out in the near future.

If only that kind of things could be an example for some other companies and their shady approach to game development and releases

I mean yeah, it's cool, of course, but this is a bit misleading, don't you think? World of Warcraft was released in 2004, but you don't see anyone batting an eye when their new expansions reaches the front page 15 years later.

Maybe they do over their own forums and social media or they just don´t care and keep on playing like every other normal day

But it sure is a great achievement these days with "disposable" games and people jumping from game to game year after year just because XYZ is newer and trendy to retain enough playerbase that make them achieve high sales numbers after so much time

There are very few games that are older than ETS2 with at least the same size playerbase. There's CSGO, Terraria, TF2, Garry's Mod, Skyrim, League of Legends, World of Warcraft, and maybe a couple more that I'm forgetting. So ETS2 is probably in the top 10 for titles at least as old as it in terms of playerbase. It's rare company and ETS2 is pushing Top 30 of all games on Steam on a regular basis. It's really impressive that this game about driving a semi truck throughout Europe has stayed as popular as it is for almost a decade.
