Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
This is how it works IRL? Because on the American trucks the kerb window is actually two panels of glass and the window roills down between them.
I have approximate knowledge of many things

I tested drive an XF 2021, and yes that's how it works, it can't be opened!

Question: To those that have a bit more knowledge about the subject than me, what is more common in EU trucks, super single steers or regular 315/70 's ??
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
But this doesn't make any sense... I know that right window isn't used often but to not give you the possibility to open it is a stupid feature IMO.
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
I don't know if it applies to all trucks! but they said the mechanism to lower and raise the can't be placed, because the Kerbview glass is large!

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
That make sense but still a bad engineering projection IMO.
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
I should mention it's a base model XF! I don't know about the XG And XG+

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
The window is just too big for it's purpose... The one in the Mack Anthem has the same objective and it's half the size of the DAF one (Maybe even less) and it works perfectly.
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
It makes the truck feels like a bus! And with the passenger seat lifted, it gives a great view! Tbh it's worth it as you rarely have a passenger with you!

Exactly. But not being able to open the window came out as a surprise!
Was this the same case with the Renault too?
