Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Last for posts were about ETS2, ATS should get some attention. Also, when should we expect news about Heart of Russia?

There will be news coming from Heart of Russia and Wyoming in the next few weeks for sure. I never expected to see much attention other than Iberia in the preceding weeks of its release.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Most of us have. Probably the infamous "owned trailer"-stutter
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
I have stutters everywhere when lights are involved. Absolutely annoying and a true fun killer. SCS should really think about their PC specs, I say this since DX11 and SSAO was introduced. Now with 1.40 and the all new lighting it got really worse. No fun at all to drive anymore. And yes, my PC is way better than SCS "recommend". There should be follow some serious improvements! But it seems that I'm the only one with this. During OB 1.40 I spoke about this but a lot people said that the performance improved a lot, not for me tho. Deleting all config files during Beta helped me to reduce this issue. But now in the final public build even this doesn't help anymore.
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
I thought I was the only one with stutter-fests, glad I'm not alone in this. :S

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
My stutters are most likely related to unoptimised traffic mods and an occasional asset overload. I need to do some testing, but I just can’t go back to vanilla after that long beta period. Not yet. That said, I don’t get these stutters elsewhere on the map, so who knows, maybe it is Iberia.
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
I have them too. But not exactly stutters. Most of the time is just a complete freeze for maybe 0.2 seconds. Probabily the game is loading too much objects in a new area. Usually at toâhose new complex interchanges in Iberia or before coming into a city.
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
I think stutters is not a good definition. For me it's more like "slow motion"... I alredy tried to capture a video of it but it doesn't represent it the way it feels when playing.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
it sounds like alot are expericing what is called "rubber-banding" or "frog-effect"? if so in the global config.file find this line:
uset t_averaging_window_length "xxx"
"xxx" is replaced by number, the value has to be double of what hz you run the game in, if 60 hz then the type value of 120. default is 20.
all thanks to the guys at Roextended forum https://roextended.ro/forum/viewtopic.p ... 158#p25158 (link goes into a deeper explanation on this subject)
i have used this fix for over a year and have absolute zero stutters or rubber-banding, no matter how detailed the area i travel is and no matter if i use own-trailer or not. Try and see if it works, it only take 30 seconds.
edit: cleared up my words abit.
