Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
On that, whether SCS will be able to get all this new stuff in-game or not, lots of new exciting stuff are coming in trucking no matter the opinions of certain contrarians.
I admit to liking the new VNL a lot lookwise, especially with that 25th anniversary paintjob

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Well, no secret that I love the T. It is in my signature, I was in the #TWC2020 so... It works great for me, I really love it. It grew on me ever since and I am actually looking for a scale model of the T to do some recreation of my truck on ETS2 .
About the things handled with Renault and SCS, from a marketing perspective, it's great. Release a new truck (a facelift) first in a game, then in real life and mention that game in the official release... that's huge. I think that Pavel never imagined that in his wildest dreams . I really hope this things with Renault boost other brands in the industry to take the same approach and see the sims more than just a game. WS took the lead with the 49X, DAF also did it with the XG. We are in the good path for sure.
I don't know why the hate on the brand, I remember in the past from certain streamer fans but... it's a brand. You have another ones around to play with. If you want them to be like Renault it is with SCS, maybe you should start asking on their social media or via email to their marketing department. Game industry it's kinda new for the heavy-transport industry and they are scratching the surface.

I guess some people doesn't like a truck because it doesn't have a swedish badge,or that it doesn't have earth-moving power.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
DAF goes even further then WS and Renault, WS used it as a second platform to show it, Renault used the game to launch their new line of trucks but for DAF you can even do official Test Drives at DAF with the game, this is the special course SCS is working on atm

Or on our side of the pond, because it doesn't have a Cummins engine and a PACCAR badge.

I would be for that too. That looks cool.supersobes wrote: ↑26 May 2021 19:28 Personally, I prefer physical gauges, but I am actually looking forward to trying the digital display on the DAF if SCS adds it. I'd imagine it will be similar if not the same as the one used in the new Peterbilt and Kenworth models, and I quite like the display in those trucks.

No queentruckeruk drive a daf XG+ and it only has 530hp and I drive scania s770 in game because it looks premium out side and inside.
My family owns trucking business and trust me if you own a Renault or volvo it will cost you lots of money in parts. That why my family only buy Mercedes benz mp5 or scanias s because they don't break down and they good on fuel.

I know a lot about trucks because I have been brought up in that world and I'm looking to past my HGV license soon.
