SCS General Discussion Thread
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
To be honest, I would not bother to buy Australia Truck Simulator. I'm playing ATS rarely, but still buing maps for it. I have completly no interest in AusTS.

I would, but driving on the left side of the road is a big no for me. I can deal with UK while driving a right hand truck, but I feel weird in a left hand drive truck.
I have approximate knowledge of many things
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
While I'm not disagreeing with the opinion that it's a bad idea, you are wrong on the size. Australia is roughly the same size as the continental US.
Texas for example is only 1/3 the size of Western Australia.
Texas is also smaller than South Australia, Northern Territory, NSW and Qld.
**Western Australia is roughly 37 times the size of Belarus.
WA is roughly 1/4 the size of Europe.

I can drive on the left, but only with a LHD truck.Tried RHD,but i can't drive with that config
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
It's something different, indeed. I tried it in several games (including ETS) and it looks so weird to have a wheel on other side. I completly don't feel distances to sides in it... I know Brits are laughing at us right now

I wonder what would be the point of Australian Truck Simulator when more than half of the US is still missing and a great chunk of Europe as well. I'd rather prefer SCS focused on that for the time being.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
I would like that in the future, at least after SCS complete the United States and when they are bigger and with more people, and when possible make a new game in a new continent, that this continent let it be Australia. Australia is a very unexplored continent in video games and having a Truck Simulator in Australia would be perfect. And of course, also include the New Zealand.
ATS and ETS2 is Hella nice!

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Takes about two weeks to get fully comfortable with driving on the "other side". Did that switch twice in real life. Didn't bother me one bit. Obviously in-game it would be different, as we never really transition beyond whatever time we spend playing. Still, I never found my brief foyers into the UK troublesome.

So, what are you waiting for? Boris is hiring big time right now...
Of course, I read that Poland is missing 120000 drivers, too.
