SCS General Discussion Thread
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
I don't know whether it's me or others, but SCS seem to like teasing things early. Eg Austria and Lyon reworks are most likely to come in 1.43 although they were both teased before 1.42 Beta came out and I'm pretty sure most other people would have thought they would come in 1.42 espiecally with Lyon.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Of course they did. They never mentioned any of those would come in 1.42, so SCS technically cannot be blamed. Also, they haven’t even announced the Austria rebuild project yet so that’s out of equation. Just Lyon and Iberia roads has been announced so far. I’d throw in the DAF XF update too.
In the Iberia roads blog they said more roads for other DLCs will also be added. I guess those might also be revealed and released in 1.43.

Or what if they announce something for ATS instead? Some newbie driver wrote: ↑18 Oct 2021 22:39 I'm expecting them announcing the bus/coach DLC to troll everybody, those who wanted actual games announcements and those who thing they would announce nothing.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Technically, would it be possible to add let’s say Lyon or Austria reworks to the current 1,42 beta?
That would be something

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Technically any addition during the beta is possible so there’s that. Perhaps once all the kinks in mod support and ffb are removed, we might get another iteration of 1.42 or even 1.43 following soon after.
We still have two complete months which is more than sufficient time to add all the mentioned updates … and more!

They could also make a blog post about when Alex, Nemiro and Cenda were in London.

I don't think we'll get 1.43 in 2021, only 2 months left! and 1.42 is still in open beta! And they can't release 1.43 in late December then leave for Christmas vacation! So in my opinion the only thing left to come this year for ETS2 is the DAF XF as an update to 1.42!harishw8r wrote: ↑19 Oct 2021 05:21 Technically any addition during the beta is possible so there’s that. Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Really depends what is in 1.43 - if it's a map update like Lyon they could release it the week after OB ends for 1.42 if they really want.
