Anything that makes states more unique and distinct from each other, I'm all for. CA rework is going to massively benefit this game, leaving only Nevada and Arizona as states that are below the requisite quality standard. I really don't think that New Mexico and beyond will need the same level of reworks, just some mountain and possibly road retexturing here and there.

Agricultural inspection stations, finally! The visuals are really stunning.
I hope they also activate the Border patrol station near Las Cruces before Texas’ release.

Now that is amazing! The thing that left me fed up the most about Germany rebuiding was that cities were left almost untouched. If SCS manages to improve Cali cities as well, it might become my favourite state. All cities will undergo a redesign and adjustments to reflect our current quality standards

Wasn't it said that the cities would be left out for later during the Christmas stream or am I just remembering it wrong? "All cities will undergo a redesign and adjustments to reflect our current quality standards" is already quite promising.

I think they mean that all cities will undergo redesigns, but the first phase will focus on environments and not cities.

I agree with FrancescoMasci. It is a pity that the cities that were reworked in Germany were too little pampered, there are no reskin prefabs and road networks there, and at the moment the road networks are too square. The California makeover is going to be interesting, maybe we will have 1.41 viewpoints?FrancescoMasci wrote: ↑07 May 2021 15:02Now that is amazing! Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Well I am really glad that they have decided to update or redesign the cities in California, and I do hope that all future update on the ETS2 side will follow the same steps,Germany looks really nice now,but it has one major shortcoming(at least for me),cities were left the same, just imagine how would have looked if the cities were made in same quality as in Iberia for example.
