SCS General Discussion Thread
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Bregenz is too close to Liechtenstein. Which one is better to add to the ETS2.
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
We are way past the point where signs mean that the city would be added.
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
I think people shouldn't expect too much in terms of "new cities" or "a complete revamp". I expect something similar to Germany: the highways are completely rebuilt, some of the cities (at least Graz and most probably Vienna) are also rebuilt, other cities and some minor roads get a nice touch of paint but are still clearly based on what they used to be.
Still, personally, I'm very very happy with this! Five minutes ago I finished some more driving in Germany and I must say I like it a lot. It's not what a complete rebuild from scratch would bring, so it's not on par with recent expansions like Iberia, but it's still a pleasure to drive through. If all old parts of the world will be brought to this level, I'm very happy with that. Anything more, such as rebuilt cities like Lyon and Graz, are the candles on the cake
Also, I hope that SCS will make blog posts about these rework projects a little more often, because I think they deserve more attention. I understand that upcoming map expansions get more attention and there is much more hype for them (also on this forum), but still, these rebuild projects are awesome!
(Talking about rebuilds... What I'm most excited about, is the California rebuild. Would love to see some progress update on that!)

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Some news on the XF this week would be nice, we're way past the half of Autumn and still nothing so far.
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Bregenz seems already to be in the game, it can be seen as an inaccessible scenery town from A14, just before a tunnel that ends before the German-Austria border (its IRL equivalent should be the Pfänder Tunnel). That said, it isn't very accurate to real life, since we're talking about old base map quality...
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
The update has been teased, twice. Hopefully on the upcoming week we should see it coming.
I’ve been waiting with my XG+, hoping that they bring the side glass to this variant too.

Yeah, like @55sixxx said it will be nice to have some news about the rest of the DAF 2021.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Well, it seems a couple of updates/news were promised for Autumn and things are pretty quiet...

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
I guess we should have at least 2/3 weeks before SCS wraps it all for Xmas, so we might still get something new before long.

The best feature for 1.43 that no one is talking about is the Gamepad controls for UI! I play with controllers sometimes and this is the best feature!
