Wow, I thought more changes were expected before the official release of ETS2 1.43! But, great! I think maybe some updates were moved to 1.44.

Let's see what happened with the DAF XF.

After I answered, I was left with a question: Did they mean that this model is not the current one (in game), or is it some configuration I made that has details of the old + current one (in game)? Because really, the latest MAN truck (2021/22), we don't have in the game yet...

I guess guys at MAN are surprised themselves, that they didn't give SCS the new, 2021 one yet :P

What surprises me is that the OB for ATS is still open. I figured the Cascadia update would've been the last feature for this round.

@mackintosh they released the MAN new parts and next day they applied several bugfixes in a fast update. Maybe they want to give them the same time for iron some details on the Cascadia and release it in 24/48h at much?

Ah, right you are, for some reason I thought Cascadia was released two days ago. Man, this pandemic is doing my head in.

Yes, that was my doubt. I thought I had bought some piece that mixed the old one with the new EL3 addition (detail). I didn't think they didn't know that in the game we don't have the new model yet. It's up to them...

The blog line about game controllers that I quoted is specifically about driving (vs. menu UI). So I'm fairly sure there must be some special solution in the making because they can make default button bindings for the most common gamepads all they want, there are still lots of controllers with non-standard button numbers and layouts. Plus, in preparation for future (!) console ports, this function should be ready, the Steam deck being only the first incentive (and a strong one).
