Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Hopefully bumpy roads are available this time
#BestCommunityEver I lough a lot every time I see that. Maybe it was once upon a time, but not anymore
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
/\ I don't say bumpy roads but rather with a very different texture. (and enjoyable)
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
We actually need a few bumpy/poor maintained roads in-game... It adds a lot to realism since there isn't a single country in the planet that has 100% of their roads/highways in perfect condition.
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
If SCS Software decides to put a few bumpy/poorly maintained roads and dirt roads as well as we have in ATS, it will be great.
Btw, in today's blog post I didn't find a single shot taken with DAF XF 2021 but there was an older DAF XF in one shot. It looks like something went wrong with the truck & it might be delayed further.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
As SCS said in the Wyoming stream, there were trucks in the pipeline and some of them would release before the year ends (For both games). The XF Update is also supposed to release before the year ends. And some other stuff as well (Krone content).
So there's two possibilites here. They'll either gives us a December full of content or a December without anything interesting due to usual "delays"... And if i'm being honest, i think the only thing we'll see this month is the Xmas event and that's it. And has we all know SCS struggles under time pressure so that is also a big factor... So expect the "Good news and the Mixed News V.1.2" blog post to come soon.
Because honestly, i don't really mind waiting one or two more months to get the XF update if they actually put extra effort in detailing the truck as they did with the 49X. It wouldn't be nice if they rushed stuff up and released the update with parts and accessories missing, unfoldable passenger seat with the kerbwindow, chassis options missing and etc.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
IF we get the DAF update this year, I don't think it will come during OB. Because it uses the DLC system like ATS trucks, I feel it is more likely it will be dealt with separately from OB.
But with the chaos of the past couple of years I think holding SCS to any general timeline speculation is a bit too much.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
I don't know, they have a LOT on their plate right now... And if the statement of multiple trucks on the pipeline is true... There is a big chance we won't see them until around Mid 2022. There could be massive delays due to the manufacturers holding back their final approval for some reason (Same thing can be happening with the XF), there's also Krone stuff being done and they're all made by the vehicle team which is rather small.
I'm keeping my expectations for this month at their lowest... I could be wrong about all of this and SCS could prove themselves capable of handling with all of this but i don't think so. At least not in just 1 month.
