Imo well deserved, but there's a long way to go

This signature virus has been spliced with the Fundementalism-B virus to create a new more contagious strain. Please look for it infecting a signature near you.

With the right tools, it's seamless. Granted.

We were requested several months ago to mount one setup of that kind for 3D engineers modeling machinery (models way more complex than those on video games) and if you wouldn't be told beforehand, you wouldn't bet that experience is from a remote machine. Of course, you need to prepare the wallet: 80k euros for the hardware and software needed for 4 people to work on it as if they had mid-tier workstations. Not counting the work time of the technicians to configure it all.

Whatever, if the concern is the spread of confidential information, that's why IRM software exists and with a decent one it doesn't matter where are you working. Either you couldn't not leak information or the only ways to do it will leave you exposed as the leaker.

There had existed for years the tools to work pretty decently in an non-centraliced office. It's just people had been forced to learn of its existence in a hurry and the hard way. But I still think the biggest problem isn't the tools but the mentality of every boss and worker and how they all decide to work in those scenarios.

Regards

I still say the best reward was the Triceratops plushie. It's taken pride of place on my passenger seat and my Windows 11 Laptop has been pushed to the bed instead xD
