SCS could well, at some point announce with the news for the game that:

1. the truck driver character becomes visible inside the truck cabin and through some types of camera inside the cabin it is possible to observe the truck driver.

2. the trucker character can now buckle up. It would be good news.

3. hands on the steering wheel.

4. the player of America Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2, could finally watch their trucker character moments before going to sleep, and also moments before waking up.
Going to sleep: The scene of the truck driver sitting in bed or already lying down is another possibility, but yawning, rubbing his eyes, sleepy. 'Enter' command makes the screen go dark and go to sleep.
Go Wake Up: The scene of the trucker sitting in bed or lying awake. Command '' Enter '' makes the screen dark and the truck driver appears on the seat with his hands on the steering wheel, camera centered on the logo on the steering wheel.

5. the trucker character can now open the truck doors.

6. the character can go up and down from the cabin.

7. The truck driver character can fill the truck at gas stations.

8. the trucker character can go around the truck and trailer set.

9. The truck driver character can open and close the cargo trailer doors.

10. the trucker character can even look into the trailer and observe the cargo.

11. the character trucker can accompany the forklifts by placing the load inside the trailer, and also removing the load from inside the trailer. There would be major developments.

i hope this never happens, this is all not necessary, they should fix the game and add real stuff to it like

1. proper physics
2. more realistic suspension physics
3. lift able back of the truck with the proper procedure to hook up a trailer
4. rework the economy
5. overhaul the cargo system
6. adding more cargo variety to other trailers other then box trailers
7. reworking of the older truck models to be at least on Actros 4 or TGX E6/Range T level in both games
8. overhaul the whole AI and make it an actual AI and not stupid line drivers
9. delivering cargos to multiple places and not only A to B driving
10. rigids for ETS2 and straight trucks for ATS
11. better performance for the game especially if you have more potent hardware

those and many others are more important then some cosmetics, like seeing the player or hands on the wheel, options i would mod out or right out disable the moment we would have them in game because they are useless to me and i think im not the only one here

I agree with xXCarl1992Xx 100%
There are naive questions, tedious questions, ill-phrased questions, questions put after inadequate self-criticism. But every question is a cry to understand the world. There is no such thing as a dumb question.

From what @xXCARL1992Xx mentioned, these are, imho, the ones both games need the most right now:

- Proper suspension physics (Similar to Alex Kazak's mod)
- More cargo variety
- Remodel of older trucks
- Multi Drop off points and etc.

Things like going outside of the truck in 1st person view, hands on steering wheel and etc are completely unnecessary at the moment... The players that want this would be better off playing GTA V with truck mods.

I wouldn't want anything involving the physical truck-driver unless they added much, much more expansive customization for them than currently exists. But even then, it'd still risk being pretty jarring, so it's probably more trouble than it's worth. Even as-is, I don't like the yawning and have already disabled the steering wheel.

I agree with pretty much everything on Carl's list.

I completely agree with xXCARL1992Xx. All these driver-oriented features are mostly unnecessary in a truck simulator. I would prefer the change in physics, more cargo variety along with more heavy haul, the proper place to load/unload those deliveries, rigid trucks & multiple pickups/drop points. I don't mind if SCS releases another cargo DLC related to heavy haul.

I couldn't agree more with Carl even if I tried, and if I did, I'd have to change my nick to xXCARL1993Xx. Preach on, brother.

In my opinion, these simulator games have always been more about the truck and the road rather than the driver. I play this game to drive the trucks and roads, not to interact with the driver character. I feel like adding driver-oriented features would feel really out of place in this game.
