Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Seeing the list of supported organisations, its good to hear that all the other cancer types have been eliminated, only the breast variant persists. Good luck fighting!
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
The others haven't been eliminated, just not made as aware as breast cancer is.
In a world full of swift drivers, I'm an O/O.

It's possible that breast cancer in particular is an important cause for someone at SCS. I complain a lot but complaining about this is ridiculous lol

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
its quite simple in my eyes, there is consensus in the westeren world that breast cancer need to be made aware of for a whole month every year, it plain marketing, its sort of "look we do it too, arent we good".
Ofcourse every kind of cancer is horrible and wouldnt wish it upon anyone, but there is simply no markting/media points in as example, prostate cancer, belly cancer, what ever else cancer there is that needs funding and research too, maybe alot more than breast cancer that must be the most resaerched and well funded cancer of them all.
but props to SCS anyways for help those that suffer from that cancer, and hope they will consider extending the list to other cancer forms in future.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Breast cancer is also the second most diagnosed form of cancer in Czechia (2011-2015), so it's quite relevant. It is also the 12th leading cause of death. And the most diagnosed, skin cancer, is more well understood than breast cancer AFAIK.

You also have to consider that a donation split amongst fewer organizations will be more impactful than a donation split amongst many organizations.
