Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Beyond the Mack Anthem wrong hood seen from the cab also missed air horn pull rope and I've said this before, even a number was assigned, but that still hasn't been fixed:

I don't think the vehicle team has time to fix anything other than showstoppers at the moment.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
That's such a minor thing, It's hardly worth going in and fixing. It will probably be one of those "we'll fix it next time we work on the truck" type things.

I asked TruckerDog about this, he then answered me that they're not planning on doing anything to older trucks just yet and also made his colleagues aware that it's still a relevant issue. But I do hope it gets fixed as soon as possible and also hope that when the Pinnacle arrives, it won't have issues like this, because SCS seems to be placing the hood and hood mirrors in the correct place ever since the 49X.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
But Mack Anthem it's not an old truck.
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
From my understanding of Pavel's recent interview, one of SCS's biggest problems is shortage of manpower for the vehicle team. They are barely keeping up with adding new trucks, let alone fixing or reworking the existing ones. And the issue isn't the money, it's finding willing candidates.
If only there existed a big enthusiastic modding community with many skilled modelers, perhaps even right here on this forum, some of whom SCS could perhaps try to contract or hire... If only...

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
It's a year old. By SCS standard it's an old truck nothing is likely to change until they have a reason to work on it again.
If we ever get ATS brand tuning packs, they'd likely fix stuff then. But other wise I think we're in for a long wait.
The downside with hiring modders is that you have to train them in the way they work with the tools they use. Contrary to popular belief the main tool is not Blender Tools, it's Maya. Most modders probably don't have much experience with it give they price tag, and while I'm sure some would be willing to learn, it's not as easy as saying "hey you, you can mod stuff, come here sit there and make a truck for us please.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
in 2019 I suggested to SISL to add as cab accessory in the mod he has on Steam, he said it was a good idea but he forgot xD the Cascadia and WS49X are the only ones that have it in the game and it looks great, I don't understand why the rest of the trucks don't have it, in real life all Peterbilt, Kenworth, International, Freightliner, Western Star and Mack (volvo is the exception) have the air horn pull rope on the left side or in the center of the cab, many will say that editing the model just for that detail is absurd, so why not add a node to put the cab accessory in that place? I can add a hanging excavator or a giant bee, but I can't add a cord to pull the horn?
