I understand, as I cannot edit those yawn noise anymore.

I repeat again when 1.39 is started.
I want change sound volume of blinkers, retarder and engine brake, but I can't, because SCS do not add volume sliders for this sounds. I can adjust sound volume of turbine sound, but I don't need it. I asked Max to add sound volume in sound.sui or .soundref, but he said that this impossible because it brake "live update" mechanism from FMOD. So we get what SCS is can't fix

EDIT. When SCS add ownable trailers, I hate this game parking difficulty when I must parking trailer to the dead wall for loading/unloading trailer (in ETS2). Is it hard to make correct parking place for SCS?

FMOD works as intended and perfectly, the problem isn't FMOD, the problem is how SCS is implementing the sounds themselves, there are some great mods out there that work more than amazing with FMOD and shows the real potential of it, is just that SCS is not using it as it should be used and we just need to hope that it keeps improving with time.

I think i have said enough on modders vs SCS vanilla content.I just don't want to repeat myself.As for the new lighting,i again don't expect too much.Some of you know why

So, I counted once again the stars in the Christmas Event, and if I'm not mistaken, we reached 2844 stars, wich would have achieved even the 8th tier. Pretty impressive!

I'm afraid, we will not see much of progress with lighitng after initial release... Maybe in 2025, or 2030... or not...

It was stated that they're aiming for physically based rendering eventually, so that should be a significant improvement. That was very much in "the future", though.

Within two years would be my wild guess.
