At some point Coach DLC/Expansion was mentioned years ago by SCS or teased by them in 2015, ProMods website still has that info last time ichecked, christmas last year or before it was mentioned by Pavel i think that the project was not being worked on but not meant it was forgotten or something like that was mentioned.
And at that time (those years ago) not many busstops were present and it is more of a side project, then got burried and gets revived once in a while specially when seeing they add bus stops and stations in the games thet revives the speculation and hopes for the busses to drive in EST2 and ATS.
Each stream i see the qustion coming by for Coach DLC, this is happeneing ever since they mentioned it and stream became a thing from their side...
World of Trucks even had article about it their newsletter (but cant find it anylonger)

Well, it seems that in the day of the Renault event, -if everything goes well- some folks of SCS will be there and we will have a streaming. IDK if a streaming from SCS channels or shared on Renault ones.

But streamings with a company brings a little light for the Renault Trucks Tuning DLC .

Hope someday I'd be able to drive this in the game.

Also about the stream, I don't think it would be a tuning pack (I'd be amazed if it is so). It is definitely the paintjob contest result, maybe we could be getting them in the game as well, along with Anne's paintjob.

I tried some coach mods recently and every one of them had lots of faults, also most were made by Brazilians. Looks like people are obsessed with coaches there ;) Bottom line, it’s no fun to try them in the games as of now.

Though I'd obviously prefer that truck updates be a priority, I don't really mind eventually including coaches.

It's not like the two are completely unrelated: coaches, at an abstract level, are effectively rigid trucks carrying humans as cargo. As long as rigids and multi-drop happen on the way there I wouldn't really object. Though I suppose some might equate this argument to calling a taco a sandwich.

Why would someone ever call taco a sandwich when it's obviously a hotdog?

That's true, not with me, but i can confirm the passion about buses here, but it either needs a lot of imagination or an specific map mod made to include bus stops and passenger cargo (EAA map is the bigger i know to support buses)

Forget city buses, we need real coaches :)
In the US you have the Greyhound which can take you interstate
Or tourists going for a trip to Yellowstone, Florida, Disneyland, a Ski Resort etc
