Speed of website

Is anyone else having bad issues with the speed of the website loading? I can click on a section of the forums and it can take quite a while to actually load the page up.

This happens to me almost every time I click a link in the forum.
Usually, if I click it one more time while it is stuck loading, it will reload faster.

It's probably due to the abnormally high amount of traffic using the website today. This is the only official site to find the information about the ATS Experimental Public Beta, including the access code to opt into the beta. This appears to be putting a lot stress on the forum's infrastructure.

Since the announcement of 1.41 Experimental Beta, yeah the forum slowed to a crawl for a bit. Couldn't handle the traffic from the sudden influx of users. I wasn't surprised and thought that would happen.

Possibly added to the issue I agree, but it was slowing for me before the 1.41 beta release and just got worse. After 1.41 beta release now it is down to a crawl off and on through the day..... This is the only website I visit that I notice this on. I have tried clearing out everything on my web browser, different browser, but nothing seems to improve it. Maybe time to focus a bit on the website upgrade since the MP version will more than likely cause a larger influx of visitors.

It's been appalling over the last 24 hours. Every now and then it comes good for a few minutes and then goes back to being stupidly slow again.

Ok, thanks for that. At least I know others are having issues also. It doesn't seem to matter how many people are on the site, 400 or 700, same reaction. Hopefully it gets figured out soon by SCS......

The forum since Friday after 1.41 Experimental Beta is really unstable. There are times when he just gets slow out of nowhere. If I'm not mistaken, Timmy said a few months ago that he was working on migrating the forum server to a better server, but he said that he hadn’t done yet because the work was too big and he wanted to do it the right way. I hope he can do that, because when there are these types of events, the forum is really slow.

Supposing there has been no outage in the servers hosting that could cause those instabilities (and that Timmy isn't touching anything, probably not); then we can measure the expectation of the Multi Player mode of the game with the sluggishness the forum is sowing.

At the moment I'm writing this, more than 600 guests active in the forum. Not the usual amount, not at all, if I remember well the numbers I've seen other times.

the forum is sluggish way before the beta started, sometime it takes minutes to reload the pages or to just open a thread, other times it does it right away without problems
