Hi,
I am experiencing microlag / stutter since the last update.
I don't have the game-log, I was unaware it's overwritten at every new start, did not secure it. I did look into it and around the time of the stutter it only contained occasional 'saving'-messages.
I have attached a game-log from another game-start afterwards, no configuration was changed in between, so that should include all the relevant information regarding hardware etc.
What I do have however is a video of the stutter occuring with the console and the framrate-o-meter open, so I hope that's helpful.

Re: Microlag / Stutter in 1.41.1.1s
What type of drive is your game data installed on? I had mine on a mechanical HDD, which I think was a contributing factor. The game likes to load assets on demand which means it has to pause the game while it loads it from the disk. When I moved my game over to an SSD, most of the stuttering was resolved.

Hi,
I can't tell you exactly as I don't have access to the machine right now, but it's either nvme or ssd with ssd being the more likely candidate.
Also I've got MS Flightsim 2020 and Forza Horizon 4 installed on the same drive, and both run in 4k@60FPS without issues.

The performance of other games is irrelevant.

One detail caught my attention:
What's up with the WARNING on device detection? Do you have a wheel and also a gamepad connected? If you have the gamepad, can you disconect it and see if the stutter occurs? I recall reading about a stutter problem being resolved by disconnecting a gamepad.
On second thought, is the warning about the mouse? Is your mouse wireless?

Hi,
Wheel, Custom Sim-controller and the mouse says "Razer Basilisk" on the bottom, is wireless.
Have been playing with this setup for long enough to reach level 14 or 15 without any stutter at all, then the update came along.
Also mentioning of other games was for the purpose of illustrating that the drive it's installed on is able to supply enough throughput.

Hi,
Is there a way to log the errors that show up in the framerate-graph?
If yes I'd simply try to enable that, then I should be able to provide better details as to where the problem is.

Hi. What you see there is whats called 'rubber banding', it's likely -but not always- where the refresh rate of your system is not the same as your game. Check your desktop display refresh rate to whats in the game e.g. desktop=60Hz in game=60Hz, also vsync on in game helps as well. Hope this helps.
