I would like to recommend you to start testing new ffb with default settings. So please, reset to default, then test it again. If you started testing with "old" settings it could end with such buggy result.

Same with a G920. The wheel is not pleasant now. Vibrating while standing still (I do have engine vibration turned off), centering at low and high speed makes me feel there's a wheel coming loose, etc. I absolutely did not have a single problem with 1.41. This 1.42 FFB is not okay for me.

In reaction: I did reset to default settings. Also running a level zero emtpy beta profile, no mods.

Thank you for this capture. Exactly what I am experiencing. I DID turned down 'engine vibration'. Also when you drive, the wheel is sluggy, sloppy, not responsive, too responsive, not linear. Game log posted in my message just above. Logitec G920.

Tested on a brand new profile with my G29 (with engine vibrations off/everything else on default settings):

No random vibrations (had none with my old profile)

However, i noticed something with the initial gain slider:

- On default position (50%), all is fine, no random shake when centering back
- Above ~60%, it randomly shakes when centering back
- Under ~50%, centering back just doesn't work at all.

Anyone getting similar results with a G29?

For me, I was only able to get the random shaking to go away by setting the overall gain to 0%. Doing so is basically the equivalent of completely disabling force feedback all together.

Yes, for me the same. Gain to 0% gives a stable wheel, but in effect it means shutting down FFB (G920).

Same issue here, Driving Force GT, no mods.

I hope they solve it soon.

If you are using a Logitech G920 wheel and are struggling with the new FFB in 1.42 what I did was completely turn Off FFB in the game menu and just use the Logitech G-Hub settings.
Only thing I did was change the Default 20 Center Spring strength back to 15 as 20 made the steering too heavy when turning.
Steering is now nice and smooth. no notchiness and vibrating when the wheel is centered.
Die with memories, not dreams.

@PGTransport Yes that's right. I set the centering force to 22 The game has little to do with the reality of the feedback forces. Well we don’t drive a tractor. It is nonsense to set the feedback forces for the engine.

Post update: The same thing happens with ETS2. Who has the steering wheel G29, G920 and G923 better to turn off the FFB in the game and use the settings in the G-Hub.
