Cascadia Update 2022 - Missing GPS corner icons and color [NOT A BUG]

Blog post, even though photo shows "work in progress" the GPS has corner icons and blue background coloring. Youtube video showcasing update also has the corner icons and blue coloring on the GPS. These are missing in game.

Not sure if was removed, or supposed to be there.Therefore reporting as a bug.

Game version: 1.43.0.83s
Date of Report: December 7, 2021
Windows 11 64bit
Reproducability: Always

No coordinates required as this is not a problem with a map location.

i saw images where it looked exactly like this when a map application was open (except for the blue glow, this wasnt there)

The system doesn't have its own map application, but if you plug in a cell phone to run the phone's map application through the truck, this is how it looks. IMO, it would be better for realism if SCS added this back.

I too would love to see this brought back. It looks so much better than having the black sides.

I'm curious to why it was removed too.

If they were removed intentionally, then why post screenshots of them in the official public release blog? it's misleading tbh!

Not only it's a downgrade, but it's blatantly false advertising if it looks different on the blog.

As long as it is marked as “work in progress”, nope.

The Youtube video of the changes to the Cascadia did not say "work in progress" and that video was mentioned in my initial post. The 1.43 release blog post today no longer shows "work in progress" and the icons are missing.
