Does anyone know if you can recruit more than 252 people?
Because now all 252 and there are no more available for a long time.

Depends on your version. But 252 at max seems probable if you have vanilla steam version.

With VLF, obviously a handful more was added, most of them british. I ended up with - I think - 273. Since I restarted this profile after completing my 100% challenge, I cannot tell exactly, but I was definitly over 270.
On my system (4GB RAM) it makes a diference of 5 seconds when doing a quicksave.
There is a badly done replacement available with 1100+ "real" drivers. Males end up with female names, the pics didn't appeal to me, so I kicked it out again.
