[REL] ProMods v2.68
Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Re: [REL] ProMods v2.52
Andorra will be reworked for compatibility with the changes.
Good thing is, there are options. PM 2.52 will use PM's iteration of Iberia while PM 2.55 will use SCS Iberia.

@krmarci Wow, that's a nice map! I didn't know it existed until now, and it sure comes in handy!

What makes you say that? As far as I know, Iberia compatibility with ProMods (with SCS Iberia) is likely to take at least 3 months.paul_aydol wrote: ↑02 Apr 2021 16:30 Looks like this will be updated very soon than expected for the Iberia release.

Re: [REL] ProMods v2.52
It was on their website, can't find it atm, but when PM 2.52 just released after the 1.40 release there was a note at the DL page that gave a "warning" for people that choose the paid DL
that said something in the lines of Promods will be updated to work with Iberia soon after it's release.
But as I said, can't see/find that note atm

This also could mean that soon after Iberia is released the ProMods team will start working on the update of the ProMods map. Which could take quite some time. Compare the following sentences and pay attention to the commas:Underscore_101_ wrote: ↑03 Apr 2021 04:47Promods will be updated to work with Iberia soon after it's release.

Re: [REL] ProMods v2.52
@chillzap21 The problem is the hype with the release. People want to explore the SCS Iberia as a whole, without sacrificing the completeness of the PM map. One good thing about the scenario is that the Promods team is giving us options while working for compatibility with the Iberia DLC.
And to share this from PM Discord:

Re: [REL] ProMods v2.52
@paul_aydol Thanks a lot for the clarification. I wasn't personally aware of this. I must say I am very surprised that PM will be able to integrate Iberia so soon after it's release. For recent map DLCs (BtBS and RttBS) it took much longer. I understand now that I was wrong, but I must reiterate that I am very very surprised about this.

Re: [REL] ProMods v2.52
Given the map provided by @krmarci it is possible for a quick release. So while we are waiting for full compatibility, we might not see some places for a while.
