PJ Indo Map v2.7 (Beta)



Finally this map is updated as beta version since there is still another thing which is not ready yet. It is the first part of MAJOR REBUILD of this map, just to ensure that this map will be stable in game or not. Then the other part will be included for next updates which is probably around next month or two (depends of my motivation).

For Indonesian who is still confused about this map, PJ Indo Map is one of fictional Indonesia map with some “unique” things. Just say this map as “New parallel world of Indonesia.”

Latest Version : 2.7 (Beta-1)
ETS2 Version : 1.35-1.37 and 1.38 above

Changelogs:
-- Compatible for Euro Truck Simulator 2 patch 1.38 and newer
-- MAJOR REBUILD over western part of south region/island (Part-1)
-- Improved two exsiting cities in north island with new map assets
-- Added A LOT of new map assets and models for this map (will be used for my next real Indonesia Map ~spoiler)

-- This is not fully representing real life of Indonesia. As I said above, it’s New Parallel world of Indonesia
-- Not require every map DLC’s (you can use this map with or without map DLC, even if you don’t have completed one).

Known Bugs/Errors
- Several errors popped up due to :
- Misplaced road sidewalk (<ERROR> [model] Unknown look name 'light_gray' on model '/road_template/indo/indo_sidewalk_15.pmd')
- Missing model looks or variants
- Incorrect rfx.material from a mover
- Misplaced flags (mostly on older area)
- Weird ferry route line (it will be fixed in next update)
- Misplaced traffic light (due to prefab itself, will be replaced with new prefab)
- Possibly black texture on map assets/models (I hope it won’t happen, please…)
- Please do not explore the older part of this map (the yellow road line)! Just follow the green one as showed in this picture below!

Well, i just make something different for this map. Like the other side of Indonesia which its natural environment of Europe. But anyway, thank you for your advice, and i will try to add or change the vegetation next time.

I don't know why there's no one posting anything in your thread.

If I can say something...
Could you check all companies since I'm not sure how many of them may have broken roads to get inside for a trailer. I did my first run today and I got stuck in Giramoro at first company when you drive in there's... an invisible wall or something and when you skip this company and drive forward to the other one TREE there's no road to get in. It's exactly at Giramoro name.

Also if you could put some more helpful signs on the roads that would be great because I think there's some missing there.

Anyway very good map so far (I don't have 100% unlocked yet so can't report more bugs).

My suggestion is to avoid "/\/\/ style" roads, I like curvy roads much, but don't make it schematic It's better to add some hairpin turns for example

No matter when you try to move your truck to I mean service from road (F7) it crashes the game.

PS. I love the \/\/\ roads, hahaha it's fun considering to A4 in europe... also there was a sign there will be a road like this so I think that is how the road in Indonesia looks like?

@Blovesx: The warnings you get in game log file are caused in the change of vegetation format, SCS perform with patch 1.22, meanwhile there's a fix out. You can read in other blogs

And ... Septian Mr, it's real a fine map. I like it. Btw, found an invisible wall at Posped driveway near Giramoro. Please fix it.

Thank you all. I will fix it.

Here are some new upcoming updates for next version.
- rebuild all map in eastern part.
- adding more cities with leftside traffic
- reducing the "/\/" (serpentine roads) and adding more highways.
- fixing the bugs and make improvements.

Glad to hear some news from you Septian_MR

By the way I was always wondering if your map is modeled by the actual real Indonesia country?
Also is this real there is a left side and right side traffic?

I would help with models to your map but sadly I'm not good in modeling.

Keep up the good work and as much realistic as possible.
