Hi!
This kind of problem usually occurs when OGL (OpenGL) has been running the game!
I don't know if there is a DirectX Emulator for MacOS, if it is, it's worth installing it and running the game under DX instead of OGL! This can solve your texture problems!

If in OpenGL all the textures are black, need re-saving textures with the generation of mipmapping and default settings

I corrected for myself by re-saving all black textures in Adobe Photoshop in DXT5 or DDS 8.8.8.8 32bit with the generation of mipmapping and default settings

This is also a possible solution - for someone who is familiar with such work, of course - but installing the Emulator is less time consuming and does not require any special expertise! :)
It's definitely easier for an inexperienced person!

The emulator requires a lot of computer resources, power, and therefore texture re-saving is much easier, it's just that OpenGL doesn't support textures without mipmapping

The only problem is that ETS 2, on the other hand, does not allow DDS saved with mipmap everywhere. There are places where we can only use DDS without mipmap, so we had to convert a bunch of DDS when DX11 was integrated into the game! :(

Ohh, and the resource required by the emulator is not significant for the game! ;)

Where mipmap is not needed, it works in OpenGL too.

An example of a pure ETS2 or ATS game without mods, everything works fine in OpenGL, given for example that loading screens are without mipmapping. And everything works fine

Great update - I did a stream yesterday. I first played this years ago. This time I used cheat files I admit, to get enough points for a big enough truck for some of the heavier loads. Hopefully Frank finds time to extend the map a bit.
