Grimes, you are one of the most talented mod builders.
Why are you coventrate your abilities on Paris only?!
There are so many cities in the game which demand a rebuild
(a lot of them in France and in Germany).
Make them compatible to ProMods and people will download
like crazy!

Hello all,

Although I am aware of plans by other modders (via ProMods) to deliver an improved version of Paris, I have been suggesting to @grimes that in time for ETS2 1.38, I would fill the gap between the A13 near Poissy and the A4 in Bercy with a tunnel called the Tunnel de Saint-Cloud. Some custom signs were improvised for the link.

It is not 100% accurate due to the constraints of the map, but I think it would save truckers a long detour from the west of France to Paris and back. For technical reasons, the maximum gradient of the tunnel is 8.75% at the western end, for about 500 metres: a bridge was ruled out due to possible visual problems from cut planes.

Because there are lots of large images, I had to create a temporary gallery on Imgur to give you an idea of what it will look like. You can find the gallery here.

Chaffinch - The images look nice and it's a good idea to provide the east/west corridor, you should publish this as an addon for Paris Rebuild once 1.38 is released.

Hello Grimes, I wish to ask if you can integrate the east/west corridor to the main Paris Rebuild mod?

I say this because of the tile-based map system: I can send you the edited tiles if you wish.

Chaffinch - You can PM me the link and I'll check it out, although I think you have to make at least 5 posts to do this.
