[REL] North Map 1.8 [1.44]

Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Works fine with 1.39 with and without promods

So rusmap, roex, turkey, etc...are NOT meant too ?
North map's missing road connexion to east, that's it, but is working with Promods (that was the main subject) as well.

This map was created once upon a time to be used with SCS vanilla and MHAPro, as
Promods had it's own development of Norway north of Oslo!

Although it's true, it's not always the correct answer. For instance, it might be possible to use North Map and ProMods together in the same profile. If you do, one of three things can happen:
1) ETS2 crashes
2) North Map overwrites ProMods
3) ProMods overwrites North Map

If 2) or 3) happens, then there are some more things that might happen, like no proper road connection(s), falling through the road, invisible objects, etc. But it might also be possible that you can drive in that part of Scandinavia without problems at all.

North Map is a fine map and I recently got around to exploring it, but I have a question. Why do most of the roads use the original base game textures instead of ones from the DLC?

Probably to make it playable even for those who don't get full dlc ?

You're right on points 2 & 3 :
About point 1, I never had crash (north map on top of promods), but only broken roads as there's no RC available
The initial question was "is NM working w/ PM", answer is "yes (but...)"
