Re: Complete pack of truck & trailer templates
@brian_kice Thanks so much for letting me know about the issue! It seems like there are issues when the mod name ends in a space, you can get around it for now by making a mod that doesn't end in a space, in your case "___ Transportation pack" instead of "___ Transportation pack ". I'll be releasing an update soon that fixes this. Thanks!
Re: Complete pack of truck & trailer templates
Downloaded everything. As you have longed for, the files are in .PSD and .png.
Do not I need multiple layers for a custom skin ?
I work with paint.net and there I have only one layer. Is there a tutorial for this ?

@rave4b, you actually don't need all layers from "separate layers" group (from PSD files). You only need to accurately fill areas for a given truck brand/model, so you can in fact use only the PNGs, which are files that keep their Alpha channel (that is, their "transparency").
I ignore the funcionalities of Paint.net, since I have been using Photoshop since v1.0 back in the nineties, but obviously, remember to HIDE the templates layers before exporting the skins in DXT5 DDS format, with mipmaps ON.

Re: Complete pack of truck & trailer templates
Hi, my skin for the cascadia truck does not take into account the area that is in the picture.
The zone exists if I apply the template as a skin but she does not appear on the png template.A solution?Thank you in advance.

What I've done in a couple of cases is just twist that little section down slightly. There's an air scoop on the truck there so it doesn't line up from a side view.

you distort the template?

@Dorian_87 You don't paint "on" the template do you?
You have to use layers and the layer you have the stripe on is the where you cut & twist that little bit.

There's actually a lever handle there, used to open the hood.Trucker_71 wrote: ↑01 Jun 2021 17:54 What I've done in a couple of cases is just twist that little section down slightly. There's an air scoop on the truck there so it doesn't line up from a side view.

@bobgrey1997 I called it a scoop for simplicity, I know it's a hood release, I drove a Cascadia for a couple of years, I checked the oil once or twice.

If you see it on the truck, then it exists on the image, and you have to find it.
This graphic doesn't come from nowhere:
