We had a change with 1.23.
From that, we have names like:

Code: Select all

ui::text : _nameless._.adviser.overlay
And not only hexa strings. And some attributes like "name" and "p2p_pml" are dropped.

I just did what it said in the post
How to use 'Speed Warning' on Route Advisor.

I'm using
Route Advisor_KAAC_GSM_Center Top_1LTT_NF_MCB_TBB_v4.7

so my changes to do was the : :P

Code: Select all

Case 2 : 1LTT

ui::text : 07762f060 {
text: "<img src=/material/ui/adviser/speed_warning_bcg.mat xscale=stretch>"
coords_l: 557
coords_r: 622
coords_t: 900
coords_b: 878
area_l: 1
area_r: 0
area_t: 0
area_b: 1
id: 111
layer: 4
tab: -1
pointer: -1
apparent_depth: 0
my_parent: 04c2691c0
}
be sure you replace the correct part....there are a few similar textlines...... ;)

did it work
:?: sure it did :D

as seen the warning getting brighter red every km/h over the limit...couldn't get it to burn, was hauling to heavy stuff, but proof is given - IT WORKS ! really nice addon...do we need a beeping sound too :?: :P ;)

I do belive it is working but i can t make it work for me
i want to use :zzzzzzzzzz_Route Advisor_KAAC_SBM_Center Bottom_1LTB_NF_MCB_TCB_v4.7.scs

but when i open adviser.sii i see this

ui::text : 00d82e553 {
coords_l: 1
coords_r: 0
coords_t: 0
coords_b: 1
area_l: 1
area_r: 0
area_t: 0
area_b: 1
id: 1510
my_parent: 00c49b270

instead of this

ui::text : 07762f060 {
text: "<img src=/material/ui/adviser/speed_warning_bcg.mat xscale=stretch>"
coords_l: 557
coords_r: 622
coords_t: 22
coords_b: 0
area_l: 1
area_r: 0
area_t: 0
area_b: 1
id: 111
layer: 4
tab: -1
pointer: -1
apparent_depth: 0
my_parent: 04c2691c0
}

the different ui text is the problem?

I did the same... first time :lol: :P

easy fix... U only need to scroll down to the bottom of the adviser.sii and you'll find the text U need to replace :!:

and read the description for the BEFORE and AFTER ...BEFORE is how it is in the adviser.sii and you should overwrite/replace that with the AFTER text

When U open your chosen "Route.scs"
you have this at the bottom:

Code: Select all

ui::text : 07762f060 {
 coords_l: 1
 coords_r: 0
 coords_t: 0
 coords_b: 1
 area_l: 1
 area_r: 0
 area_t: 0
 area_b: 1
 id: 111
 my_parent: 04c2691c0
}
this text you should replace with

Code: Select all

ui::text : 07762f060 {
text: "<img src=/material/ui/adviser/speed_warning_bcg.mat xscale=stretch>"
coords_l: 557
coords_r: 622
coords_t: 22
coords_b: 0
area_l: 1
area_r: 0
area_t: 0
area_b: 1
id: 111
layer: 4
tab: -1
pointer: -1
apparent_depth: 0
my_parent: 04c2691c0
}
copy / mark the same text in the .sii / paste this new lines / save file

Map Black Background(MBB) transparency Change

In adviser.sii,
ui::text_common : 10c49b272 {
value: 6F000000
6F000000 => BF000000

I tried doing this and while it does seem a little darker it is not completely Black. I want No transparency at all. Is this possible?
