I installed the ATS version but its very dark. Time was 1:38pm, sun was shining, no rain etc but the light levels were like it was overcast. Removed the mod and all was sunny again. Is this normal?

I looked at timezones etc but didnt make a difference. No other weather or graphics mod installed.

Same in ETS2 same time 1PM ish it looks overcast dark, not like im used to with RBWU.

So because I love to mess around with mods, I think I found your problem. After comparing the previous Version with the new one. I made the decision only change that makes sense is the cloud shadows. Changed out the new ones with the old ones and her we go:

Just for clarification this test was performed on 1.40 because I was waiting for all my mods to update. So if anything in 1.41 changed and the darker clouds fit. Then I can just change it back. But I assume you have the insight look on this.

@andysuter1972 Depends on the skybox as well, but will have look at it thanks

@MrPapaBear If u noticed, the skyboxes are not the same, meaning the result will be or might be different and there is alot of them for the same time and the game randomly chooses 1 or more some times and they mix together etc sometimes the outcome might not be the best when they mix. But ofc i will look into that and hopefully will be fine next update

@Slavthailand Normal well depnds as i said above depends of the skybox type, but in this case i noticed at least 1 particular skybox doing that and should not.

@Kass No I mean skybox looks bright and normal but map looks really dark like night time and I can't see anthing

Yes Kass I understand. And I would checked the skybox, but the skybox is bright and normal. And I seen this since the update all over with different skyboxes. So that’s why the cloud shadow test, and it worked no more dark days. Just used old cloud shadows, from previous Version.
