Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check chapters [4] and [5] of Forum Rules.

Features

Code: Select all

- Mod adds 1200 variants of trucks (rhd and lhd) for quick jobs to select from;
- Every quick job truck now has its own (not always perfect) technical condition;
- Almost all possible variants of chassis, cabins, interiors, now used in quick job trucks. More than 90% of default engines are represented; 
- Mercedes Actros `14, Volvo FH16 2009\2012 and Iveco Stralis\HiWay now use new engines from Snoman`s Gearbox/Differential mod. Also, all quick job trucks use real gearbox data from Snoman`s Gearbox/Differential mod (mod is integrated);
- Trucks differ by installed accessories: front and bottom grills, wheels, sunshields, headlights, mirrors, doorhandles, sideskirts and doorsteps;
- Correct badges, based on engine\chassis type;
- Reworked truck paint system: trucks will use SCS vanilla skins or custom skins for real logistic companies: A.K. Worthington, CEVA, Freya, Fiege, Kuehne Nagel, Norbert Detressangle, Panalpina, Schenker, Sovtransavto, Dachser, Emons Group, Logwin Logistics, Fercam, Willi Betz and Raben;
- 80+ new paint colors for ai\quick job trucks and ai cars;
- Some trucks now have working interior lights;
- All trucks without integrated GPS have standalone GPS navigators;
- New loading screens;
- Mod is compatible with all map, cargo, trailer, graphic, sound and physics mods;
- Trailers will not use fictional company skins (optional);
- Harder economy, harder gameplay and slower player level progress;
- More traffic on roads and it is more agressive;
- Some quick job trucks will now use Michelin DLC tyres;
- Some trucks will have cabin accessories;
- Some trucks will have dirty windshields;
- Some DAF and Scania trucks will have Vabis steering wheels installed.

Attention!!! Mod is tested with ETS2 ver. 1.28 and not tested on previous versions!

-Fixed errors in some def files;
-removed old physics, economics, fines;
-decreased wear level for quick job trucks parts;
-advisor, virtual mirror and icons of gas stations, service stations and rest areas brought back.


-28.06.16 Version 1.6
-Removed not needed GPS for some Iveco Stralis Interiors;
-Decreased brightness of interior light;
-Heavy decreased bloom;
-Updated interior animation files to fix errors with incorrect speedometer/tachometer readings;
-New harder economy, much slower player level progress;
-More cars on roads and they`re more aggresive now;
-Removed menu sounds to be able to compress mod and make it much smaller.

-02.07.16 Version 1.6.1
-Corrected negative income from ai drivers;
-Corrected bank credits (more time to pay the credit);
-Tomtom navigators changed to vanilla SCS navigators.

-29.09.16 Version 1.7
- corrected definition files for all trucks to fully support ETS2 ver. 1.25;
- fixed some errors in traffic definition file;
- added two new skins for DAF XF 105 company trucks;
- improved loading pictures.


-02.03.17 Version 1.8
- Fixed errors in job generation definition files;
- Updated all 195 truck skins, 2x higher resolution now;
- Some quick job trucks now will use Michelin DLC wheels,
- Some quick job trucks now will have curtains installed;
- Added dirty windshields for some quick job trucks;
- Added Vabis steering wheels for some DAF and Scania trucks;
- A bit easier game economy;
- Updated loading screens, added few new screens;
- Some changes to mod structure: removed some unnecessary files. 


-31.05.17 Version 1.9
- Fixed errors in job generation definition files;
- Updated transmissions and engines definition files, added new transmissions and engines;
- Some quick job trucks now will use xenon headlamps, some - default halogen;
- Completely removed default transmissions from quick job trucks definition files, they will only use lots of Snoman transmissions;
- Lots of new transmissions were added to quick job truck definition trucks;
- Reworked trucks and traffic cars colors definition files, now cars and truck will use less vivid colors;
- Fixed wrong base_color values in quick job trucks skins definition files;
- PMG files were converted to fix yellow warnings in game log. 

30.09.17 Version 2.0
Changelog:
- Updated various definition files related to: quick job truck generation, fines and economy;
- Updated truck transmissions;
- Trucks in quick job will not use metallic paint colors;
- Trucks in quick job will now use some cabin accessories;
- A bit less aggressive traffic on the roads;
- Fixed missing icons for windshields tuning parts;
- Removed xenon headlights due to the bug;
- Added possibility to disable generation of trailers with fictional company skins (in quick jobs and cargo market) by installing supplied No_fictional_trailers.scs mod.

19.10.18 Version 2.1
- Updated different definition files inside the mod;
- Fixed errors in console;
- Mod now fully compatible with ETS2 v.1.32.x.

Installation
1. Extract scs files from downloaded mod archive to Mod folder;
2. Run game and launch mod manager;
3. Enable Improved company trucks mod. If you don`t have DLC Michelin, also enable dlc_michelin.scs (with higher priority!)
4. If you want to disable generation of trailers with fictional company skins (in quick jobs and cargo market), then also enable No_fictional_trailers.scs mod;
5. Play!

This looks like a great mod. I'm not sure about all the extras though, like removing the icons from the map, or not knowing what type of truck I'm going to be getting when taking a job. Are there files that I can delete to get rid of different parts of the mod?

JazzGuru You will know what type of truck you will get, i mean brand and cab variant. But camera will show truck from the front, so you simply can`t see how many axles you get. As for invisible map icons: simply delete material\ui\map folder inside mod.

Baja_002 I use hard economy mod (self made) and hard physics (self made) right now. Maybe, i will release it too (needs more testing). Much interesting to play. Now 20 lvl and only 150k of money. No garages of course. 500km race gives me only 2000-2300 euro. ;) Work for a company gives 1300-1500euro for same distance.

I used to have it like really low (bot got frustrated :lol: ); I know you can make around 2000€ in a month (and you earn it in a single delivery in ETS)


EDIT: Tested it and it works like a charm; however, this mod makes game vehicles a bit too bright (colors are bit unrealistic)

Theosz You need to open readme from rar archive, not from zip file (mod itself).
Baja_002 Thanks for feedback. About colors: picture in my game is rather low contrast (just visit my wot page to see), so for me it`s ok. Maybe, i will add darker colors to game palette.
