HDR Fix v1.5.3 (by nIGhT-SoN)

[ external image ]

Description: It fixes the glow, saturation and orange tint of light of default HDR.

Changes:

Code: Select all

v1.5.3
- removed color correction from base mod
- added color correction and some other enhancements through ReShade (now it's optional, check readme inside the archive on how to install)

v1.5.2
- adjustments to color correction
- updated file tree

v1.5.1
- small changes to saturation
- fixed some bugs when weather was changing
- updated for version 1.32 of the game

v1.5
 - Reduced bloom. I don't think it should be removed completely, it would make the image darker and give it a feel of autumn - winter.
 - Reduced saturation. Image is too colorful to look like real life.
 - Reduced orange tint. In vanilla light tends too look too orange, feels like sunset or sunrise even in mid day which shouldn't be the case.
New pics:
Pictures taken at 9am game time.

Note: I know there are a lot of mods like this one, but for me those were too drastic with the change. I've made one on my own taste and maybe there is someone out there like me.

Works with v1.32

I love it man. What bugged me the most in other mods was the fact that they were what You call it: "drastic".

This one is perfect. Kudos!

Beautiful, removes the horrible default glow but is not over the top. Love it!

Could you update this one? In 1.4.8, running with your HDR fix, driving around 22:00 looks like it's still 18:00

It's not because of this mod. The file responsible with day time is nice_weather.sii. This mod just affects the HDR. If you turn off HDR this file won't have any effect on the game.

Another great Mod! This one tones down the over blown HDR Bloom just right!

Glad you guys like it! After playing with this, I can't go back to the default HDR, it looks so strange and not very real. I hope you have the same feeling.

Probably the best HDR mod so far! Love the work man; usually mods mess up the color saturation and stuff that makes game unrealistic but this one perfectly adjusted. Thanks a lot!
