SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

@Boeing73FLY - Another note, Sound Fixes Pack also uses real engine torque and real top speeds for the AI traffic cars that have been modded. I take care in that aspect too :)

Updated mod to version 1.11.1, "Baltic Traffic Light Update"! Updated both MediaFire link and Workshop version.

What has been done?

Code: Select all

- Re-worked sounds
  - Better quality AI engine sounds, loudness versus displacement (petrol vs. diesel)
  - Constant sound volume across all car and truck tires
  - According to the poll votes, thunder will now play...
    - slightly later (few seconds longer silence)
    - slightly softer treble levels, but still retaining semi-heavy bass levels
- Adjusted traffic light timings in the Baltics
  - NOTE: Some traffic lights will be temporarily disabled for 24 hours as a way for me to find them in order to fix them in the future.
    - Help is greatly appreciated by reporting and sending me the location DURING DAYTIME in-game.
- Added more variety of trailer traffic
- Added "spawn_ratio" of 10% to some 80-kph low bed trailers
- Returned clocks set back 1 hour for Snow Version for certain areas
And do not forget, I am asking all of you a favor. If you could drive around the Baltic countries (must have DLC Balt), I would like you to report the locations of traffic intersections with flashing yellow traffic lights DURING THE DAYTIME...so in-game time should be between 0500 and 2300 (the times sleep mode is usually not activated). This is simply a way of identifying the locations of traffic lights in which I still need to work on the timings in the future.

Can i ask you if is possible to reduce the trucks without trailers number?

bummel, I don't think I understand your request. What do you mean by reducing trucks without trailer's number?

There are many trucks in ai traffic without trailer.

Ah, I noticed it now. I don't know if I can set their spawn rate, but I will see what I can do.

EDIT: Turns out I will need to mess around with some new ways of adding specific trailers into traffic. Due to college, I may not be able to push out another update right away.

UPDATE 10 Sept: Simple fix applied to the spawning of 80kph truck traffic for oversize loads.

Please re-download the mod! If you have the Workshop version, the update should be applied automatically.
