Absolutely, like you do in the UK. You will learn to drive a rigid, and initially qualify to drive a rigid (box) truck, before you move on to a trailer puller.



In updates news. The version available works as it should, as far as I have tested it with 1.24. There are a few error logs that are inconsequential. I have eliminated them from the next beta and that should be available as soon as I have it compiled and uploaded.

Okay, I'm slightly confused.

How many different brands of truck are there in this mod? Will you eventually make used versions of all the trucks that SCS have added into ETS2?

Edit - Have just read the whole thread (from the beginning) so I have seen why you want to make certain 'less desirable' trucks more viable.

However, I still hope that you will consider adding all the trucks from the base game. This could work because, as you have said, those used trucks would be cheaper to buy initially, but they would then have higher overall running costs and would also have the worn look about them, which would mean you would eventually want to save up and buy a brand new truck, once you can afford it. Of course, this would also mean that we would have a wider variety of possible 'used' quick-job trucks for the game to choose from when populating the job-list. This last one is the main reason that I hope you will consider doing this.

This is a very interesting idea. I might get some used trucks from this mod when I have no new truck mods to try out in ETS2 (if I ever get to that point)

can the registration numbers be altered to reflect the age of the truck? all my number plates have a 62 age identifier.

I last tested it for 1.24

I have been away from home for most of the past 2 months and havent got around to any updates, and I havent upgraded promods ect either. Sorry for the delays, I'm going through a house move, busy times
