While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

#1 Post by gary199233 » 08 Aug 2016 13:00

Since there is no one make/share DAF, MAN, Mercedes Benz, Iveco, etc. hub reduction axle and wheel cover mod, I tried to make one and share it.
(I'm a newbie in 3d modeling, please tell me if I have made mistakes)

Credit: 50keda and ohaha for suggestion
V2obert, Trident R.S., TarsoMagno, Phips_98, Kristian287 for image sources

compatible and recommend to use with 50keda / abasstreppas wheel pack

Download link:
For latest version: (Haven't test yetin ETS2 and ATS. Please report if there is any problem)
Before using the mod, it is recommended to change to use other hub first
Hub_reduction_axle_by_KCl.zip - 251.5 MB
(This should be fixed the issue of MB front driver axle hub)

Old version:
For 1.26
Planetary axle
Wheel cover
For 1.27 (Haven't test, please report if there is any problem)
Planetary axle
Wheel cover

Todo list:
1. Meritor rear axle with 5 planet wheelends
2. Hydraulic axle used in Acros (request high resolution images!!!)
3. improve some model (may be)

I also want to make Scania's RPB 735/835, Meritor and Sisu's hub reduction axle. But for Sisu axle, I can't find some good photos as reference. :(
