[REL] Daniels ETS2 Random Events

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

I am sorry to ask you because you are probably already working on it @danbywinby , but could you please share the information when a new official version of the modification will be released under the current version of the game?

Not sure about this - Although I do find that its possible to come across broken down vehicles quite quickly and some form of warning would be good, thats not totally realistic, maybe split them between VMS, No warning, flares ( haven't seen any with flares) and triangles?danbywinby wrote: ↑06 Mar 2021 12:20 So i have been looking at exactly what i have at the moment for the inside lane breakdown events and how i could improve them.

@krzysztof23 The next version should be out within the next 2/3 weeks ideally I would like to say next week as the next version for ATS will be out within the next few days and then the focus will be on ETS2. The work for the next version of the ETS2 version is all done it is literally just testing remaining.
However the current version should work fine without any problems on 1.41.
@Snupple I have changed my mind since that the versions with no warning do remain however are more rare. There are no versions with flares as currently there are no flare models in the game for me to use.
@ZeFrango The slider in the game for the random events will only change the value from 0 to 3. If you want it to go higher you will have to use the console or edit the configuration file yourself. The value is under 'g_road_events' I believe.
@Michael2412 That already exists in the current version. There is an event where there is a police car parked on the hard shoulder and can fine you if you are speeding as you drive past.

With the latest ATS version of my random events mod now released my focus now switches to getting the ETS2 version tested and released.
I am now finally able to see my brand new roadworks events in game:
