Go to the folder "Documents> Eurotruck Simulator 2> Profiles> YOUR FOLDER >> and call up the config.cfg here ... In this config.cfg you search for" g_save_format 2 "!

If you don't have any entries, put the following entries there.

uset g_console "1"
uset g_save_format "2"
uset g_developer "1"

Now you can freely control your game as you wish.

These entries are for me only located in the config.cfg file in the Eurotruck Simulator 2 folder. The result is the same. TS SaveEditor Tool decoding works. I think when I use this method it saves me time not having to do it over again for each profile. It's a bit weird because this is the first time I had to do this. I'm very glad the tool works again.

uset g_save_format 1 (default format) is in folder "Euro Truck Simulator 2" and in file "config.cfg", Not in folder profiles >>> XXXXXXXXX

@wuermle If those lines aren't in the config file, you've opened the wrong config file. You never need to add these lines, only modify them. The game has more than file with the name config.cfg, so the directory the file in is important.

I thought there was an option to clone a profile, make some changes to name etc., and save it essentially as a new profile. I can't find that now(?) Am I wrong?

Immer diese Ungläubigen PS bei mir gab es keine 0.2.6.6 nur die 0.2.6.5 und die geht auf keinen fall da sie nur für 1.40 und max 1.41 geht

Must have been a senior moment, I failed to click on the icon beside the profile. I did right click it but that doesn't do anything!
