Piva Weather mod v5.3 (07-04-2020)

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

there are problems with sky resolution in some skyboxes, if you can, check this out

I don't play this game since 1.37 is out. But when I test new skybox features in 1.38 (ATS) I fix skybox model archive

You can replace files from archive in your mod, so it will work, but will have some warnings.
For new mod owner- recommendation.

stars_texture can be "null" (edtor will change it)

 stars_texture[0]: "null"
skycloud_part now obsolete, so you need replace all "sky_1" or "nice_0" to empty string

 skycloud_part[0]: ""
For bad weather set sun_opacity to 0 so sun will be removed from the sky at rainy day

 sun_opacity[0]: 0
if you see how textures will change too fast in game - I was set 0.4 for speed_coef in ATS 1.38 release (you can use 0.4-0.8 - depends of your taste)

Since 1.20 game version is out, weather setup files not used "time scale" anymore https://modding.scssoft.com/wiki/Games/ ... 6_skyboxes

Each part "02/03/04/05/06/07/08/09" is a sun elevation angle range from "low_elevation" to "high_elevation" and depends "sun_direction" too.
Because the Earth is not flat (if you are adept of Flat Earth - don't read this comment :lol: ), so game use "lambert_conic" map projection in this case now it more realistic when used "time" scale.
