Re: [REL] Better Flares 3.3a for ETS2 (UPD 9/8)

Hi,
I tried looking in

Code: Select all

BFv3.3 2.Headlights Neutral/Blue/Yellow.scs
unit/hookup

vehicle_aux_lights.sii
vehicle_headl.sii
vehicle_high_beam.sii
But i couldn't find anything about the fading of the highbeams. And is there a way the fading works better. When really quickly pressing the highbeams it fades in but doesn't fade out again

It is the attribute

Code: Select all

state_change_duration: 0.6
in vehicle_high_beam.sii. A higher value means longer fading/transition time.

Promods overwrites the texture of street lights by adding an ugly yellow ball. Is there a possibility to keep Better Flares using Promods?

@chopoland

Place it above Promods in Mod Manager!

@chopoland, yes, what BenganJ suggests. You may also want to check out SISL's city lighting mod (on the workshop and works in 1.38) as well as Grimes' Realistic Building Lights mod (updated for 1.38).

Thank you for this mod! It is one of the best ones I have used for ETS 2 and a must have imo.

Okay, I've gotten the priority, but still, the big flares keep showing up, instead of the Better Flares.

This happens only in promods cities, correct? Perhaps they are using a different flare filename, specific to their models. I will check this out.

It would be fantastic, after using Better Flares it is horrible to see those huge balls.
