TRUE Lights AI vers 6.5 10/12/16

Version 6.5 Updated for 1.26x

Finally decided to update after some of your requests. Works standalone like always but also complements weather mods, just load this with top priority to make sure it is not canceled by the mentioned mods.
On some maps, like Promods for instance which has customized assets, this mod may not look as intended.

This is great!

Was wondering (haven't tried the mod yet), but does it also make the actual headlights brighter from longer distance? I don't mean the casted light on the ground but the actual "Light bulbs" of the cars. The rear red lights and front white lights are so hard to see at just a little distance while in real life they are very powerful. Hope SCS does something in a patch regarding this if it isn't possible for addon makers.

Hopefully yours do. Will test when I can.

One question... Cars still have very bright light during the day with bright sun. Is this something that can be done differently, like having them turn off their lights during the day, or at least not shiny?

The subject of daytime lights was discussed on another topic - viewtopic.php?f=40&t=7195 - but as sunrise/sunset times seem to be 'set in stone', I found that making darkness come earlier (in my mod for Autumn) meant that in some countries I was driving in, the AI would run with no lights at all when it became dark, and only come on around the default sunset time :o . Of course it's possible to change the times that the streetlights come on and go off (env_data.sii), but the AI lighting up times don't follow suit. The workaround I use is to set all countries to have their AI lights on 24 hours a day (def\country\.....) :? . And of course that also means you can set every country's AI to run with no lights on during the day.
But apart from all that, this TRUE Lights mod is the best I've seen so far :D
